by artist Emily Hoerdemann

A simplified illustration of a purple hand with fingers and thumb extended, positioned horizontally.

Raised in an artistic household, Emily grew up surrounded by creativity.  Her Mother was a graphic designer, who sparked Emily’s lifelong love of color, composition, and design. With a background in painting, photography, and art history, Emily’s work is inspired by fine art references, pop culture nostalgia, and generational femininity.

Emily currently lives and works in Los Angeles, where she also maintains a studio practice as a collage artist.

Hello Little Milly is named after her Grandmother: Millie
